Location 5 minutes walking to Gare de Nord station for Eurostar train, cleanness perfect level, really comfy bed just about right and friendly staff, can leave luggage after check out. We did not try their breakfast, we dinner out at Mangioni Paris, 3 mins walking to the hotel. It is a small restaurants offering delicious food and not expensive at all. We 4 people spend €55. Better book in advance as weekend can be really busy. I was advised need to take damage deposit when checked in, but they normally issue refund in the evening after you check out. Better mention this in the description.

Lennon by Avalon Hotel Paris Gare du Nord is a great choice for a short stay in Paris. The location is fantastic—just a 3-minute walk from Gare du Nord, making it super convenient for Eurostar and train connections. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The room wasn’t the largest, but it was perfectly adequate for a two-night stay—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a city break. If you’re looking for a well-located and friendly hotel near Gare du Nord, this is a solid option!

This is a nice hotel very close to Gare du Nord and 15 minutes by underground to the Sorbonne (where my conference was held), which was very convenient. I got a spatious room with almost everything I needed, including a kettle and tea-bags. The wifi was very good and the breakfast fine. The staff were nice and helpful.

The location was great being a few minutes walk from the station with multiple restaurants & convenience stores nearby. The staff are helpful and allows us to keep our luggage after check-out. The check in process was smooth and filling up the questionnaire before arriving helps a bit. The room was overall clean, with a rather old fashioned hairdryer (but I like it).

Very convenient location very close to Gare du Nord. The room was pleasantly decorated and quite large. Breakfast was fine but not amazing. Being able to leave our bags there before and after check in and out was very handy.

Location ! Location ! Location ! Less than five minutes walk from Gare du Nord although if I am honest with you I prefer the smaller Barbes Rochechouart station, means you don't even have to bring up google maps on your phone. Just exit the station from the main exit turn right, walk to the end of the road and slight right again onto Boulevard de Magenta and #129 is almost in front of you across the road. I arrived on the first train from London so I was super early for check-in but the hotel was kind enough to keep my bags until later in the afternoon. When I returned, the friendly check-in was a breeze and they all speak wonderful English which is more than can be said for my poor French. I had room 32 on the third floor. It was adequate for just me and the shower was piping hot. The bed was super comfortable, in fact very comfortable and for the four nights I was there I had no complaints. Its very clean and they change the towels daily although I could have used the same one twice. The TV had mainly French channels but CNN was perfect for me. Although it is in a busy part of Paris, my room at the back was super quiet and I did not hear any traffic at all. No its not in romantic St Germain, the Marais or Rue de Rivoli but you will pay much more for a room that you will only sleep in. Day or night the area around Gare du Nord and the hotel was very very busy with people going about their business. No need to feel intimidated. I've been visiting Paris for almost 30 years and never been a victim of crime. Just use the same street smart that you would use at home and you'll be fine. Bars, restaurants and boulangeries abound day and night. The little blue shop behind the hotel on Rue de Dunkerque sells water and drinks half the price of local supermarkets. I can recommend L'Annexe 13 rue des Trois Frères, Paris 75018, at the foot of the Sacre Coeur for amazing meals but you have to book as they are mega popular.

I had the most heartwarming experience while staying here. On my first day I had a migraine attack and couldn't even stand on my feet but the personal at the Lennon hotel helped me like I was some relative of theirs. Specially Joaquim, who saw the situation and helped me and my mom with dedication and patience. His kindness was gigantic, he even walked us to the Gare du Nord Hospital and translated to the personal the situation. His commitment and words of encouragement will always be remembered! Thank you very very much. The hotel is super clean! The room was cozy and with a cool vibe at the same time. The location: amazing! Only two streets from Gare du Nord. I really liked the style and decoration. And, to be honest, who wouldn't wanted to stay on a hotel named after John Lennon? Next time I visit Paris I'll book here again, no doubt!

We really loved the position of the hotel - close to all commuting options or, if you like longer walks, you can reach some of the most important attractions by foot. Personnel was extremely pleasant and helpful. It is a cheap, old hotel so it's good to set your expectations, as you get what you are paing for. Overall it was ok, quite clean (towels changed everyday) confy bed (a bit small)
